Over two decades we have evolved, adapted, rebranded, and explored new areas of technology and creativity. While the name Khimaira Studios is relatively new, the journey behind it began many years ago with a simple idea: building things for the web.
The Early Days: Grid8
Back in the early-2000s, the internet looked very different. Websites were simpler, mobile devices were rare, and the tools developers use today were still in their infancy.
Our journey began under the name Grid8, where we focused primarily on web design and development. At that time, businesses were just starting to understand the importance of having an online presence. We helped companies create websites, establish their digital identity, and step into the growing online world.
The work was straightforward but exciting. Every project was an opportunity to learn new techniques, experiment with design, and build better digital experiences.

The next transformation came with MonstersofDotCom, a brand that allowed us to broaden our digital services and experiment with different types of online projects.
This phase of our journey was defined by exploration. The web was becoming more complex, social platforms were rising, and new technologies were emerging quickly. Instead of staying fixed in one niche, we chose to evolve alongside the industry.
